lyrics

(inspired by the Gopal-tapani Upanishad)

Vraja is decorated with wish fulfilling trees and creepers
which year round produce fruits and flowers of all seasons

That transcendental land is filled with various birds sweet sounds
and in all directions the humming of bumblebees resounds

Vraja, it’s our dear Lord’s home
Vraja, let’s go back home

The ground is made of brilliant jewels, which dazzlingly shine
equal to a myriad of suns rising in the sky at one time

On the ground is a garden of trees, which fulfill all desires
always showering divine love on whom to achieve it aspires

Vraja, where we all come from
Vraja, it’s our dear Lord’s home
Vraja, where we all belong
Vraja, let’s go back home

Why suffer in this material world
of birth, death ,old age and disease?
Friends, let’s return to Vraja, our real home
and live in bliss and knowledge eternally

In the garden is a jeweled temple made of gold and rubies
beautified with arches and colored canopies

In the temple is a great jewel inlaid throne
In this way I meditate on Vraja our Lord’s home
